DO YOU TAKE CUSTOM ORDERS?
I will happily consider all custom order requests!
You will notice in the made-to-order collections there is a certain amount of customization available for many of the items within the listings that do not require special communication. Straightforward changes to collection items such as color or type of materials, and item size can almost always be accommodated upon reaching out to me. From there, I can verify that your desired choices are in stock and can make any necessary pricing adjustments before checkout.
Fully custom items, especially those that include tooling artwork and new item designs, will be carefully considered before accepting to ensure I am able to dedicate my full passion and time to your vision! I also require your ability and availability to trust the artistry, have excellent communication and decisiveness over the course of the build process. Please note I do not design or begin artwork until a deposit has been made.
CAN I BE PUT ON A WAITLIST FOR CUSTOM WORK IF YOU'RE CURRENTLY BUSY?
I do not take deposits for custom work that I cannot begin within a few days, so will never have an official waitlist. If I am booked, I will still discuss a simple inquiry and then put your name and date down. This doesn't guarantee you an official order spot, but guarantees you a spot in line when I become free to be contacted to see if you are then ready to place a deposit/payment to secure an actual order spot at that time. If I don't receive communication back within a day or so I will move on to the next customer in line.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR TOOLING WORK?
My tooling artwork, not including the item it’s crafted into, has ranged anywhere from $50 to over $1,000. For example, most of the medium to large tooled collars end up being $500-800 on average upon completion. Since I charge for the time that it takes, size doesn’t always matter, but the amount of detail does--not dissimilar to how a tattoo artist charges. Portraits and realism tend to take the longest along with pieces requiring a lot of design work from scratch. Please consider this when selecting images or concepts for me to work from.
DO YOU TAKE DEPOSITS OR PAYMENTS ON CUSTOM WORK?
If the custom item is identical in labor time to a previously made piece, I will be able to calculate an exact total for you and will require full payment before work begins. Otherwise you will be given an educated estimate and the deposit will be about a third of projected final total. Once work begins, deposits are non-refundable. Final remainder is due within 7 days of receiving payment link when project is complete. If it is not received by this time, I reserve the right to keep the item and/or offer it for public sale to recoup my costs.
Please note that tooling artwork or unique designs will be more challenging to project cost for in advance, but I assure you I will do my best based on previous experience! Translucency and fairness is important to me. My pricing is simply based on the carefully documented labor time (to the minute) and materials used, so you'll never pay a dollar more than what is put into your custom piece.

CAN YOU SHIP EXOTIC LEATHERS INTERNATIONALLY?
At this time I am not licensed or possess the permits to do so, namely goods that utilize species listed within CITES.
